Woodford Reserve Straight Rye

Rye gateway that is not THIN. Rich, smooth, dark, tastes like a proper bourbon almost. All the rich flavors without the spice and burn. Cheers!

the nose is pretty typical rye, with a spicy nose with a bit of cereal, and maybe some fruit. taste is much more laid back but still rye. strong spice at first but mellows into some kind of chocolate covered fruit. maybe an orange nougat?

good stuff, nice ABV level, good value. would have a bottle in my bar.
