Woodford Reserve Straight Rye

Got this as a gift. Smooth full bodied clean finish

Interesting dance between the spiciness from the rye and heavy barrel char characteristic of all Woodford's products. Nose dominated by rye notes, but after some time, vanilla, oak, and cacao show up All rye up front. A little bit of sweetness, and some corn mid palate. Nice long finish, after any of the spice and floral hints leave there's just a bit of warmth at the back of the throat and chocolate and barrel linger. Incredible complexity for the price.
