RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The nose has delicate aromas of green tea, grassy meadow mixing with subtle spice notes of cinnamon and clove. The palate is surprisingly delicate for a 100% rye. Instead of big, bold, and spicy it is fairly mellow, with the spices sticking to the background and orchard fruits (pear, golden apple) front and center, with a hint of green tea-like tannins and slight herbaceousness. It finishes quite clean with subtle spice and honeyed sweetness. "
