Appearance: Russet Muscat in color, oily-looking as you swirl with slow-moving long legs that hang to the glass.
Nose: Sweet dried fruits, with a candied orange peel. Old oak with just a hint of light smoke.
Palate: Smooth with a light sherry and port note that is immediately followed by more of that dried fruit and candied orange peel. Crisp for the age statements blended in here.
Finish: Mouth-drying saltiness but not in a bad way. Not as lingering as you want it to be. Slightly more oak and distant smoke like when you smell a cabins fireplace in the distance.
