Underwhelmed. Prefer Los Vecinos or The Producer for a cheaper bottle.

Still novice here but agree with the posts here and these are my own words thoughts summarizing the collective — that spicy peppery is spot on, but I will note for me personally that means it really hits me up front but going down much smoother than the flavor profile noted but in a good. not over powering smoke but just right I also thought. There is more to it in the aroma and flavors but not quite there yet in my descriptors! I like it for sure

Smokey

Wood smoke, fresh bread, pepper, spicy agave, smoked meat. Smoky, peppery, spicy taste. Less complex than the reposado, but the peppery spiciness doesn’t disappoint.

Smoky, but not overpowering. Surprisingly smooth for 48%.

Actually had the Reposado— won’t let me add this! It’s delicious though.
