Pronounced vanilla on the nose with some maple syrup and mild spices, delightful on the palate, smooth and creamy, sweet vanilla, almost on the verge of too sweet but never goes there, finish is short and sweet with a hint of spice.

Nose is milk chocolate, chocolate milk, Yoohoo, Nesquik--it's seriously chocolatey. There's maple syrup and vanilla as well, giving it a depth and richness which is truly enticing. I can only fantasize about how this would taste as a reduction. Palate adds woodspice, molasses, mocha, and faint tobacco leaf with a dense, oily texture. Palate is syrupy sweet and as decadent as any dessert. The finish is medium, remaining sweet, but adding a bit more citrus and clove before fading back to chocolate.

Very sweet and basks in vanilla literally. You can smell the vanilla waft the room. Pungently sweet rum. One of the better rums but not the best.

The original description by Distiller is on point. Fantastic. I’d add the cigar/pipe tobacco on the front end of the sip.

I used to like to former version with the cork and aged 12 years. The newer version is okay.
