Zuidam Millstone 100 Rye Whisky

Wow bready. Rye hits you first. Big bold. Barley & cinnamon. It's like big red gum without the punch.

Really, really good. Smooth, caramel notes, a little fruit. Not picking up the pepper and spice as described and would not have guessed this as a rye but it is delicious.

This one proves I still have no idea what I’m talking about when it comes to whiskey. Very good.

Odd yet intriguing earthy & grassy components on nose. Rye, pepper as one would predict. Worth trying even if price may be a touch high for what it is.

Grassy and earthy with sweet spice and black pepper. Long sweet spicy finish.

I'm getting chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon on the nose. Maybe licorice too. Pepper, rye, and some toastiness on flavor. Smoother than I thought it would be! Especially since it's 50% ABV. Nice and warming
