Picked this up because I like high rye bourbons, so this blend seemed like it would be up my alley. Definitely notice the rye on the nose, along with sweet fruit, almost melon, and light brown sugar. Rye-forward flavor, but mixed right in with the sweetness of a young bourbon. The finish is where this stands out. It’s a wild ride that bounces back and forth between what you’d expect from rye vs bourbon. It’s definitely a shorter finish but leaves a nice mild sweetness with no real burn. Very unique. I think if they put some more age on it or bottled it at a higher proof, it would be even better
