Nose: Simple spice, heavy on the pepper
Pallet: Rye spice on the front which is nice but ends in peppery. If that was mellowed out this pour would rate higher.
Finish: Sour with some heat
Just one dimensional.
Working on finishing off the bottle, it’s okay, not worth the 90pts that distiller gave it.
If you’re a JIm Beam fan you should have this on our bar. I’ll likely have one just in case someone is a fan and for $23 it’s easy to keep around...
