Nose: mainly vanilla, touch of caramel and the slightest hint of spice.
Palate: soft and creamy. Chocolate orange (almost a rich acidity), touch of oak, touch of rye spice at the end.
Finish: medium to long but not intense. Rye spice lingers. Pleasant but not overpowering
Overall, one of the more balanced bourbons I’ve had. Hits all major flavor profiles without one sticking out. Biggest takeaway is the soft mouthfeel.
