Citrus and vanilla on the nose. On the taste I’m getting sweet honey, cigar, leather up front and a fair amount of (wet) oak and possibly some burnt caramel or toffee on the backend.
All in all I can’t say it’s my favorite bottle under $100, and I’m not sure I can say it’s in my top 5. It’s a bit spicy up front even though it’s a lower ABV but becomes mellow pretty quick. To be honest, it seems a bit confused about what it wants to be.
