Nose: a heavy pungent fruit sugary grape smell from the dominating sherry. It’s aaalmost too much, like smelling syrup or overripe grapes, but it manages to keep it rained in and pleasant. There’s a good deal of caramel sweetness too. The alcohol is surprisingly gentle seeing that it’s 59.8 % ABV.
Taste: wow (the surprised kind, not the overly amazed one (though it is good))... This is incredibly rich! It’s very, very sweet, owing to the all encompassing sherry. Again, the ABV considering, it’s surprising that the alcohol isn’t more bitey; it mostly just covers everything with a soothing warmth.
