Nose: Butterscotch, toffee, orchard fruit marmalade (mixed green and red apples, pear and apricot), compote of black currant, ripe figs, a touch of dates, some ashy and rubbery smoke, earthy and milky peat, slight meatiness (some honey glazed ham and brisket), small hint of school glue, some vanilla, charred steak, candied and smoked orange peel, salt water taffy, medium dark chocolate with caramel inside, slight chocolatey oakiness, small touch of black pepper, sweet lemon candy with meaty smoke, liquor soaked cherry, sandalwood, blueberry jam with cloves and cardamom
Palate: Bittersweet peat, honey, oak sweetness, semi sweet red wine tannins, a touch of vanilla, medium dark chocolate, black pepper, mix of simple syrup/treacle/butterscotch, black liquorice, sight saltiness, bonfire smoke, pear and apricot juice, orange candies with caramel, lemon candies
Finish: Sweet ashy peat, slight solvent note, mossy herbal flavours, white tea, a hint of caramel oak, touch of white pepper, sweet apricot
