Oily Full and Sweet:
This Whiskey is full bodied, it is quite complex. However, I cannot and do not appreciate the complexities. When I drink this I taste a very oily spirit that has all the characteristics of the barrel it was aged in (woodiness, dry tannins, a bit of spice). I also get some sweetness from the corn. In my opinion, the combination of these flavors is off-putting and undesirable.
To me this spirit does not live up to the hype, there is no reason for me to go out of my way to acquire this as I'm sure I can get this experience elsewhere (though I admit I haven't yet). Even if this spirit were highly available, it still would not be worth the price for me
