Another good find for me on the clearance rack at a local ABC liquor store.
This one was not as smoky as i'd like and had a bit of a bite on the end. Though this has the typical Islay flavor the smoke is very muted. I taste green apples, honey, and some floral flavors which all disappear pretty quickly. For the price i paid for this I'm not upset but if I paid full price for this bottle it would be a bit of a let down for me. It's a solid scotch but for the price point there are many other great options on the market for Islays. Talisker, Ardbeg, Laphroaig, even JW Green label all surpass this Bunna.

I agree with you. You must have had the newer version with the man steering on the front, if you get a chance to try the older version, with a man saluting behind a steering wheel, it is a completely different Scotch, at least me and a friend of mine believe this. The older version is MUCH better.
