Okay, it’s good, it’s actually great tasting bourbon. Semi-sweet, it’s deliciously spicy, and even crisp and refreshing at times. Vanilla, caramel, a little oak and some citrus. Finish is medium at most, spicy and somewhat drying, leave me wanting more sooner than I should. Poured 2oz with a tiny splash of water. I really enjoy it, but to me, it’s simply not a good value at this price. Eagle Rare 10y is more worthy of a $200 price tag and if the house was on fire and I can only save one bottle of bourbon, Eagle Rare is coming with me. But price aside, this is a great top shelf bourbon and I’m happy to add it to my collection.
