On the nose: a lot of warmth and spices. Letting the dram grab some oxygen opens up the nose. It gives me the feeling to let it grab the air for a couple of minutes before sipping. After a couple of minutes i got vanilla, butterish, oil paint, cannabis. After a couple of smells this makes me think about my dad's old army stuff. There is no way you'll expect to hit a 51.4 percent whisky On the palet: vanilla, nuts or peanuts, dried fruits and oak. Even though it has over 50 percent alcohol it has a kick in the beginning but that fades away quite nicely. Finish: long lasting warmth, spices, dried raisins . A very complex taste in which it was quite hard to find the right words for it. Really good!!
