Mmmmmm scotch. The sherry cask aging is very apparent. The whisky has a dark golden red color. Has the same oily and thick consistency as the ardbeg 10. The nose is very fruity. Has a sweet red wine smell. When you sip it has the sweet smoke and strong fruity scent right there. Aftertaste brings in a nice sweet honey twist and some dark chocolate kick in there. The flavor stays for a long time and is just a thick, sweet, smokey, and oily presence for as long as it should. I drank this a bit after a Lagavulin 16 and this is slightly better. Drink and enjoy. Cheers, mates.
