Glenfarclas 17 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland

NOSE
Strawberry taffy, honey grahams, cocoa, dried cherries, sulfur and some banana-nut muffins.
Not super complex, but not exactly a lame-duck aroma either. It just is.
PALATE
Strawberry taffy, honey grahams, cocoa, dried cherries, sulfur and some banana-nut muffins with a bit of cranberry and blueberry.
Glenfarclas 17 Years’ palate is almost a carbon copy of the aroma but with some interesting added fruit notes.
FINISH
Medium -> Vanilla taffy, banana-nut muffin, cocoa, sulfur and a bit of leather.

@TheWhiskeyJug sounds like 21 is next in line then! Although I really dig, what for me, are the raisin and tobacco on the 25
@Bourbon_Obsessed_Lexington You're not wrong in feeling that way. The price jump from 17 to 21 isn't that bad compared to how much more you get out of if. Between the 17, 21 and 25, I like the 21 the most.
@Bourbon_Obsessed_Lexington I have the 17, and it’s disappointing for the price. Haven’t tried the others to compare though.
I struggle with picking one of these up vs the 21 or just splurging on another of the 25. I feel like starting with the 25 is a set up to be disappointed with the 17 or 21.
