There’s a heavy nuttiness lurking beneath the initial caramel. It needs some time in the glass cozying up to an ice cube to really bring it out. It’s got a heavier flavor and feel than expected and the oak is just in front of the nuttiness on taste, but it doesn’t stick around. The nuttiness clobbers it quickly.

Heavy rich caramel that’s almost overpowering. It’s edged with the oak so that, for me, it’s almost a sick note. Not entirely pleasant, but at the same time not unpleasant. It’s got a bit of hotness to it.
