Nose: Rich deep sherry notes,sherry sweetness and mustiness, oloroso nuttiness (walnuts, pecans and chestnuts), sour grape must, sweet dill and cilantro, dark purple plum, figs, dates and prunes, an amalgamation of caramel toffee and butterscotch, a touch of pineapple and some American oak, bittersweet oak and sweet red paprika, cayenne pepper, candied mango cubes, oaky wine tannins, a touch of dark malty cocoa, fresh coffee grounds, dried apricots, slight creaminess and a tangerine note, spearmint, a hint of black liquorice and anise star, sweet chocolatey oak mixed ground pepper and nutmeg, slight ginger some red candy apple
Palate: Sweet creamy hazelnut and other mixed nuts (peanuts, chestnuts), dark syrupy wine spiced with nutmeg cardamom and cayenne pepper, deep spicy oak with honey sweetness, spicy anice and black liquorice with sweet dill, sultans raisins, spearmint, bitter chestnut skins, bittersweet orange peel, green celery type sweetness and honey covered dried apricots prunes and dates
Finish: Mixed red and green apple skins, sweet candied peach, slight sweet nuttiness (hazelnut and chestnuts), spicy oak and cayenne pepper, toffee and fresh caramel
