On the nose sort of subtle; citrus, rye, mint, kiwi, caramel, pear and hay. Palate: almost no spice, there’s caramel, some citrus peel, obviously rye, hay, and faint black pepper. At the finish the dominant sweetness fades to soft and short peppery spiciness. Overall it’s good, and very smooth, but it isn’t great. It just isn’t deep enough. That said, I’ll definitely enjoy having it around.
