I'm really surprised by this one. I expected a huge kick of smoke. It's there, but really subdued. The nose is mostly pear, white grapes, honey, and again, very light smoke.
On the tongue I'm getting the fruit again with butterscotch followed by black pepper, oak and light smoke.

Black Label has lost a little of its smoky character over the years, but then it was never a peat monster and the smoke always has a subtle sweet quality.
