El Tesoro Reposado follows suit with its blanco counterpart. Delivering strong presence of citrus, agave, and spice. La Altena produces some of the highest quality tahona-style tequila with traditional methods and altos influence. It has a honey like golden color with a buttery texture. On the nose we will notice aromas of citrus, cooked agave, almonds, vanilla, and flashes of oak. The flavors follow suit with nuances of cooked agave, orange peel, black pepper, clove, and oak. The finish is not as prolonged but it leaves a spicy undertone on the tongue with lingering agave and honey on the throat.
