El Tesoro Reposado Tequila is an additive-free tequila made from 100% estate-grown blue weber agave. It is produced in Los Altos, Jalisco at La Alteña Distillery, founded by Don Felipe Camarena in 1937. Today, his grandson Carlos Camarena oversees production.
The agave is cooked and crushed using a tractor-pulled tahona before being distilled. The reposado is then aged for 9–11 months in ex-bourbon barrels. (SRP $65).

Tasting Notes
"The nose has mild notes of cinnamon, lime, and chocolate along with a touch of char smoke and mint. The palate is slightly sweet with vanilla and a touch of agave vegetal notes. More mint and lime are found. The finish is clean and refreshing."
