Release date 2021c bottle 38413. Tried neat thanks to @Looneyhead for finding me a bottle of this. Super dark in color, amber/copper. On the nares I get toast, burnt marshmallows, caramel, vanilla, tobacco, dark cherries, on the palate it’s smooth with a hot Finish with notes of Cream Brulé, tobacco, toffee, hickory bacon.
Holy Heidi. Put a piece of ice in it and it really opens it up with notes of fruit like figs, cherries, dates. Making it a perfectly balanced rich bourbon.
Side note: I haven’t tried anything else of garrison brothers bc I heard it was all trash. @looneyhead said this was a amazing and he was not lying.. this sh*t is delicious 🤤

Time to become a cowboy
Definitely not trash in my opinion, but it is very different likely from the corn variety and hot Texas aging. They sure don’t taste like your standard Kentucky bourbons but they are unique. Give their small batch a go if you can find it, very interesting pour.
