Nose: Very sweet with brown cinnamon sugars and cereal grains just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. You can definitely smell the spices of the rye but they are quite over powered by the sweetness of the dark sugars. This is an amazing nose. Pallet: as in the nose the first flavors are Cinnamon Toast Crunch with a mellow mouth feel. But that quickly gives way to the heat spices of cinnamon, clove, all spice. Very reminiscent of Christmas time. A wonderful dram to enjoy on a cool winter or fall evening. Finish: the finish is medium long with a dry “back of the throat” feel. Leaving the fresh green flavor of the rye spices behind. It makes the pallet beg for more.
