Mini bottle. Just because. Lol bourbon aged 1year? It looks it. Very pale. Candy corn, ethanol, and hints of oak and apple in a nose that’s weak in all respects other than the alcohol. Despite the relatively low proof, the palate is harsh alcohol with rye, sugar and candy corn. Ethanol finish. Run away, seriously.

@pkingmartin Fuckin A. I picked this nonsense up at Total Wine simply because they have tons of worthless minis right next to the registers and I happen to be a completionist, for better or worse. I don’t have a lot of experience with “accelerated aging”, but I know it’s bull shit. Things are pretty clear; as it stands, you can’t fake whiskey.
Haha, isn’t this one of those Fred Minnick TW recommendations? Sounds like their technology of rapid aging doesn’t work and just tastes like 6 month aged bathtub hooch. Thanks for taking one for the team in trying this liquid crime.
@twostal Existential query for the day: Why does this even exist? The maker obviously doesn’t care about quality, utility, or even a mediocre experience, and there are plenty of dirt whiskies out there. What do they hope to accomplish where no one would buy this twice, and the branding isn’t attractive enough to be bought even once? Ponder
@Looneyhead oh that hilarious. They are probably a recovering alcoholic
@twostal Where the 750s are at Total Wine there’s actually one of those signs that says an employee thinks this is a great find. I know they push their own brands, but come on.
@twostal Super delicious. I found my new favorite
You are having a delicious bourbon sippin day
