Dark straw in color with a hint of Amber. Slow forming, but plenty of legs. Nose is bright, tart and fruity .. candied apple and herbal notes with fresh stored straw. Soft and grassy, it is incredibly well balanced... The dry oak and rye spice are matched by the light caramel/creme brulee and the finish is long and interesting... It's a great dance between the mash bill and the barrel.
