Initiallly I get sherry and sticky toffee pudding on the nose. After adding a bit of water I am also getting banana and spice.
On the palate it is a bit oily, hot, and spicy. I may need to add more water to lessen the heat.
The finish is nice, medium length, with more spice and sherry, along with some raisin and that sticky toffee pudding.
A good desert dram. Definitely a sherry bomb. One to experiment with by adding different amount of water to see how it evolves. It can take it as it’s Bottled at cask strength.
