Initial nosing I get peat smoke, iodine, and then that classic Bruichladdich new make freshness with citrus notes and vanilla.
On the pallate I get campfire, sour and then sweet.
On the finish I get wood smoke, spice, and tartness. The finish is a nice medium length.
I love that Bruichladdich bottles all their whisky at 50% and higher ABV. It suits the whisky well and is never over powering. This is a great Islay whisky at this price point!
