My first pisco, that I intentionally waited for until I came to Peru. I expected something similar to grappa, but so far it’s quite distinct. Smoky, orange, mineral, wood, white wine and almonds on the nose. Minerals, smoke, grape, and light bits of wood and pepper on the palate. Light peppery finish. So far so good. And cheap, at least in Lima. @twostal
