Nose: gentle peat that anesthetizes any other odor. So delicate and I would dare to say "perfect" that you do not feel the lack of anything else. Palate: equal to the nose: a gentle and perfect peat, with sweet honey and shortbread, light toffee and raisins. Very light, it seems much more than the 45.8% declared. Medium-short finish that starts from peat and ends (unfortunately) in bitter. Excellent whiskey, delicate and very easy to drink, without however the body and character of other great peat products such as Port Charlotte or Caol Ila. Così delicata ed oserei dire “perfetta” che non si sente la mancanza di altro. Palato: uguale all’olfatto: una torbatura gentile e perfetta, con dolce al miele e shortbread, leggero toffee ed uvetta. Molto leggero, pare ben piu dei 45,8% dichiarati. Finale medio breve che parte dalla torba per finire (purtroppo) in amarognolo. Ottimo whisky, delicato e molto facile da bere, senza tuttavia la corposità ed il carattere di altri grandi torbati quali Port Charlotte o Caol Ila. Voto 4,25
