On the nose the rye spice and malt from the mash are extremely up front and present. The sweet notes are overshadowed by the peppery notes. Upon the mouth swish, notes of pepper and rye fill the throat with a banana nut bread taste present. The malt, rye spices, and black pepper notes linger in the throat creating a pleasant burn similar to that of a good Canadian Rye. Complex and pleasant.
