NOSE
Fruity sweet, dilly spicy, oaky, copper and some vanilla taffy, cocoa and waxiness.
It’s a decent nose, but light and not as expressive as past batches. A bit on the mild side.
PALATE
Cloying port, copper, stale nutmeg, oak, vanilla taffy, biscuity, light dill, cocoa and raisins.
Surprisingly light despite the heavy sweetness, this is not at all what I think of when I think HWMND.

@PBMichiganWolverine haven’t opened it yet. When I do I will send some over with some other things.
@Anthology and that combined with not having the 16 yr high quality rye in it anymore . @Scott_E how was the 10 from last year ?
I wonder if the ownership change to Constellation Brands has anything to do with the decline in quality…
@PBMichiganWolverine I admit I have them all except Act 1. This was the year I almost skipped but I found at an acceptable price. Act 11 maybe skipped.
@TheWhiskeyJug Act 2 and 3 were amazing. I’ve stopped after act 5…seems to have gone downhill after 3. Haven’t had the latest ones, seems overpriced
