Sweet but spicy nose. Burnt orange. Vanilla. Slight saltiness and caramel. The palate starts with some bright fruit notes. Green apple and orange. Then it goes into some dark flavor notes. Dark caramel, almost bordering on black licorice. A bit of smoke in the background with the oak. The extra proof really adds some extra dimension to an already good bottle. Nice finish. Slightly dry with some burn. A great purchase for 40 dollars if you can find it.
