A very pleasant gin, overall. Nose is quite caustic (think paint thinner), which coming right out of the can did not inspire confidence 😂
First taste is delicate and smooth, and then a nice bitterness (dark juniper notes and nearly burnt lime peel come to mind) follows. Finish and after taste are quite mild, and dont linger. In a G&T the darkness of this gin opens a bit, but bitterness is still retained. In a negroni it melds fantastically with the Campari. If you’re a fan of darker, bitter gins then this is a good one.
