Off the nose I get some honey and another sweetness, almost maple like. The taste has some oak present and then kicks in with some of the spices including a decent cinnamin taste. It has the caramel that I look for in there as well but it is buried behind the oak and baking spices. The finish is on the shorter side, but still has a kick to it. Overall, the nose I find more appealing than the actual taste. It is a decent whiskey for the price and will definitely want to try it on a rock to see if sipping will open up that sweetness more.
