First foreray into Old Forester offerings.
This is kind of grungy and dark. Burnt brown sugar, rye spice, tobacco and baking spices. Quite good for an entry level bourbon.

Hey, Gents! Just picked up a bottle of the 86 today. I'm on a quest to find really good "low proof" bourbons, and since I've had the 1897, 1910, and 1920 — all of which I thoroughly enjoyed — I figured I'd give this "entry level" a spin. Cheers!
@Richard-Davenport I’ve heard a lot of good things about the 1920. I’m looking forward to trying the whole OF lineup.
@jdriip Another one that I need to try. I've had the 1920 Prohibition offering a few times and have always loved it until my most recent bottle.
