One final pour from John, miss you buddy
This last pour has been sitting at the bottom of the bottle for a while now so who knows the effects, but were drinking to a friend here so who really cares!
Nose: definitely getting the classic smoky ardbeg peat. Some citrus. Mocha comes put a tad once you get it in your mouth.
Palate: chocolate and coffee are prominent here. Some smoky bacon. Salt air and seaweed. Smooth for the proof though it might have lost some potency. Fruity malt notes here too, blackcurrant?
Finish: begins with a dark chocolate, fades to a salt air. Creamy Vanilla and smoke. Fades to a lingering cottonmouth feeling with some phenols and oak tanins sitting on the tongue.
