A friend of mine gave me this gin as a gift and I am so glad he did. The container is an old-style oil can with a plastic inside to protect the gin from the metal. On the nose, it has a sweet smell with juniper notes and some citrus with ethanol rounding out the scent. The body is smooth. I tried it neat and while it was not really smooth it was not unpleasant either. The citrus is more present as well as the other herbs. The finish was nice and short. This gin makes a great Gin and Tonic but only an OK Martini. The Martini is unusual as the herbs in the gin do not play well with the herbs in the Noilly Prat Dry Vermouth. Overall, I enjoyed this gin and may end up putting it into my rotation. Enjoy.
