Hmm where to begin...well let's start with the nose. When I first smelled it, immediately the first thing I smelled was the bourbon nose. I mean it has a really really flavourful bourbon nose. Also you can smell the sweet grain, toasted corn. Really floral, syrupy, inviting. On the Palate it's also really floral with hints of milk chocolate, clove and Walnut. It's 51% abv but it's "really smooth" just covers your mouth with a creamy sweet toasted corn. The finish is caramel and milk chocolate medium length. Now would I get this again? Probably not, it's good but i wasn't blown away (probably because the last Japanese whisky I had was the taketsuru 17 which was bomb I rated that one 5/5). It's because you can definitely taste the grain note (corn) but it's not that bad you can definitely tell there's some older whiskies in here. If you like a really mature toasted corn creamy taste then this is for you. Cheers
