The nose is very aromatic but more candy-like than cinnamon/allspice. The palate was sweet, not too spicy, and there was no pepper, but a very light, nutty flavor in the background came in at the end. The finish is medium to light, with no burn and no aftertaste. Overall, this was a very pleasant drink. At 50% ABV, this is right in my preferred range.
