Like others have said, it's a bit sulphur, but the sulphur plays well with adding elements to the "chocolatetynes notes" of this whisky so kudos to the master blender. I got a bottle when I was in us last summer for $45usd which I feel is very fair. For the price some are paying $80 this is a total ripoff. But for around 50 usd this is a very good product and fairly priced. Since I'm in Canada and for the other scotch fans out there try glendronach, its very similar in taste and more available. Cheers
