Rye — Kentucky, USA

Cornerstone was rhe whiskey that got me into Wild Turkey, so I was excited to see another rye-focused Master's Keep Release. 10 year rye (includes up to 12 year) bottled at 104 proof.
Dark caramel in glass. Lots of oak and drizzled honey on the nose. Some whiffs of tobacco.
Palate is a little thin. Rye spice not extremely pronounced. Some sweetness offset by a bit of lemon. Finish is creamy with lots of pronounced charred oak.

How does it compare to Cornerstone? I loved that release.
