A bold, Rye Danish Whisky by Stauning Whisky Distillery in Denmark crafted with malted Danish rye & barley entirely floor-malted on-site; distilled on open-fired stills, double-distilled in copper pots; then aged in new American oak casks before being bottled at 48% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of grain, wood, dark fruits, nuts, herbs & spices; a spicy life adds notes of fresh baked rye bread with melted butter, black pepper, mint, blackberry & lemon oil; that led to a balanced death of medium length with notes of toasted oak, vanilla, cinnamon, pecan praline, cocoa & stone fruits.
