Salted caramel, vanilla bean, red apples, cherry/ cherrywood and mild oranges. Then some heavier oakiness, a dash of smokiness more orange zest, pepper and baking spices, cinnamon, milder green herbal rye notes. the finish brings the cherry, vanilla and mild herbs, being long and spicy. the proof is perfect for this whiskey honestly, and it has much more layers than the original rye they have. absolutely estatic about this bottle. Maybe one of my fav ryes for the pricepoint.
