Tasting and pricing from a 375ml bottle. The nose has light dark fruit and vanilla notes. The palate has typical bourbon sweet vanilla, cherry, and slight oak. In a way it reminds me of Buffalo Trace. The sweet vanilla and fruit tends to linger after the sip. While i haven't had much port wine finished whiskey, if you gave me this blind, I'm not sure I'd realize it was finished.
