Not overly vis ous in the glass. Nose reads stronng Makers Mark, maybe with added soapy floral notes and more pruny than apple. The palate follows the notes on the bottle to a T. Strong, strong caramel. Enoufh MM apple to taste like an extra sweet carameled apple. Chocolate and maple are present as well, but more in the background. Ay 112 proof, slightly higher than most MM products, but helps brings spices into play nicely. Ice is a pleasant addition without significantly xhsnging the profile. Too sweet for me to sip more than a dram or two by itself. A good old fashioned maybe. Anyone liking sweet bourbons will go for this.
