Nice blended bourbon and Rye Whiskey. It really does taste like a blend between a bourbon and rye. On the nose you get a some sweet vanilla, some light oak, a little bit of caramel, some of that traditional rye spice, and a little bit of a herbal grassy note as well. A lot of that translates to the palate with the rye flavors slightly overpowering the bourbon flavors. Finish is relatively short and id want it to be longer but i get some toasted marshmallow on the back end. I really liked my first few pours but it kind if fell off for me as i got further into the bottle. For the price its a good pour at around $30. Some things could be a little better and some things a little worse, so i think a pretty average whiskey.
